Where are these products shipped from?

All products are shipped from our U.S. production facilities in California and Illinois, minimizing transport costs and transit times so that you have the product you need, when you need it.

How is the DDB1-F installed?

The flap on the DDB1-F can be stapled to a 1"x4" wood runner at the bottom of the jamb legs, or the part can be screwed directly into the slab bottoms — giving you flexibility based on your production line setup.

What slab thickness does the DDB1-F fit?

The DDB1-F is designed for 1-3/8" slabs. For 1-3/4" slabs, see the DDB2-F.

What is the difference between DDB1 and DDB1-F?

The DDB1-F adds a staple flap to the base DDB1 design. The flap allows attachment to a 1"x4" wood runner at the bottom of the jamb legs as an alternative to screwing into the slab — useful when a runner is already part of the production setup.

What problem do DDB products solve?

Double door units are prone to sagging and lateral movement between the two slab panels during shipping and handling. DDB products bridge the gap at the bottom, keeping both slabs locked in their correct position until installation.
