Split Jamb Closure Clip

This one piece low profile closure clip is for 2-3/8" split jamb doors and features a special slim profile above the jamb to allow for casing. This part can be easily removed at the job site by simply cutting along the casing and removing the staple. These clips DO NOT require a complete bore through the jamb.

All products are shipped from our U.S. production facilities in California and Illinois, minimizing transport costs and transit times so that you have the product you need, when you need it.

What tools do I need?

A staple gun is used to install the CL4. To remove it at the job site, simply cut along the casing and pull out the staple — no other tools required.

How many units are included per box?

500 units are included per box.

Does this clip require boring through the jamb?

No — the CL4 does NOT require a complete bore through the jamb. Its slim profile above the jamb is specifically designed to accommodate casing on split-jamb doors.

What makes the CL4 different from the CL3?

The CL4 is built for split-jamb doors and features a slim low-profile design above the jamb to allow for casing. The CL3 is for flat-jamb doors only and is not recommended for split-jamb applications.

Can the CL4 be used on exterior doors?

Yes, the CL4 works on both interior and exterior doors — including double and sidelight configurations — to reduce sag and maintain the reveal through installation.
